😺 🎙️ PODCAST: How to use AI in your business
...and what tools to use if you do!

Welcome, humans.
This AI leader went from 4 hours building content to 1 minute 19 seconds (seriously).
He shares a process to do the same for your work in this week’s new podcast episode:
The podcast’s discussion question: Does AI = productivity boom or quality bust?
We chat with internationally recognized AI strategist (who led SAP's AI Center of Excellence) and author of The AI Leadership Handbook Andreas Welsch about exactly that question, and how to use AI in the right way for your business.
In this episode, Grant and Corey dig into:
(5:56) The Jevon’s Paradox trap: Why cheaper AI = bigger bills (just like gas prices).
(13:57) How Andreas automated his entire content workflow from 3-4 hours down to 1 minute 19 seconds.
(28:47) Why IKEA's AR app still can't replace actually sitting in a chair.
(48:32) “Don't build an LLM wrapper”—the brutal advice every AI startup needs to hear.
(49:37) Outcome-based pricing: Only pay when AI actually works (revolutionary, right?).
(55:08) The exact tools Andreas uses: Zapier vs N8n vs Make.com.
(59:17) In 2040, we'll teach kids what NOT to do with AI (like we do with electricity).
(1:02:21) Why AI job screening might be “a sequel to 1984 called 2025.”

This part was really interesting to us: Remember when cloud computing was supposed to save everyone money? (5:17) Over time, the bills have added up…and many of us are locked in (what some call “cloud rents”, equating it to a technofeudal system where the Mag 7 are our digital Lords of London).
Well, AI pricing is following the same economic pattern—and Andreas explains what to do about it. Key insight (9:41): Even if vendors raise prices, inflation raises labor costs, too. As long as you're getting positive ROI, it's still worthwhile.
His advice: Focus on business value and ROI, not just cost. Don't just look at total spend: look at value per line item and measure tangible outcomes (like successful resolutions, revenue impact)

Work with Andreas (AI strategy, workshops, training) directly.
Use N8N, Zapier, or Make to start automating your own tasks (N8N is our favorite—check out all their template workflows you can try yourself).

Next week, we’re going to release a tutorial on how to use N8N with MCP to have Claude actually write your N8N automations for you—cool stuff!
