Official Terms & Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

  1. Sponsor.  The giveaway (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by TechnologyAdvice, LLC (“Sponsor”). The Neuron is a newsletter owned and operated by Sponsor. Sponsor contact/address: 3343 Perimeter Hill Drive, Suite 100, Nashville, TN 37211. 

  1. Promotion Period. The Promotion begins December 14, 2025, and ends December 31, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s server/timekeeping is the official timekeeper.

  1. Eligibility.  The Promotion is open to individuals who:

  1. are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is older) at the time of entry;

  2. are members of The Neuron audience and can access/complete the survey; and

  3. are not (i) employees, officers, or directors of Sponsor and its parent/affiliated companies, and (ii) members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or households.

International participants: The Promotion is intended to be available to eligible entrants worldwide except where prohibited or restricted by law. Sponsor may exclude or void entries from jurisdictions where the Promotion is not legally permissible or where prize fulfillment is impractical or unlawful.

  1. How to Enter.  To enter, complete The Neuron 2026 Reader Survey during the Promotion Period.

Entry condition: Only the first one thousand (1000) eligible individuals who complete and submit the survey as determined by Sponsor’s records will receive one (1) entry into the prize drawing (each a “Qualifying Entrant”). Limit one (1) entry per person. Use of multiple email addresses or identities to circumvent the rules may result in disqualification.

If the survey requires an email address to contact winners, entrants must provide a valid email address. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, corrupted, or untimely submissions.

The Neuron 2026 Reader Survey is administered by Sponsor in connection with The Neuron newsletter.

  1. Prizes.  One (1) winner will receive:

  1. One (1) $500.00 gift card (merchant/brand selected by Sponsor in Sponsor’s discretion, unless explicitly stated otherwise); and

  2. One (1) 60-minute live AI chat/consult session with Corey and Grant (the “Session”), to be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $500.00 for the gift card. The Session has no cash value and is not transferable (unless Sponsor approves in writing). Total ARV: $500.00 (plus non-cash Session).

Gift card terms: Gift card use is subject to the issuer’s terms and conditions. Sponsor is not responsible for any restrictions imposed by the issuer.

Session conditions:

  • Session will be conducted remotely (e.g., video call) using a platform selected by Sponsor.

  • Winner must schedule the Session within 90 days of accepting the prize, and the Session must occur within 180 days of acceptance (unless Sponsor extends).

  • If the winner is unavailable after reasonable scheduling attempts, Sponsor may substitute the Session component with a Sponsor-selected alternative of equal or greater value (or remove the Session component if required by law).

  1. Winner Selection and Odds. After the Promotion Period (or after Sponsor confirms the first 1000 Qualifying Entrants), Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing from all Qualifying Entrants. Odds of winning depend on the number of Qualifying Entrants (maximum 1000).

  1. Winner Notification and Verification.  The potential winner will be notified via the email address provided (or other contact method Sponsor has on file) within a reasonable time after selection.

Sponsor may require the winner to complete and return, within the time specified:

  • an affidavit of eligibility,

  • a liability/publicity release (where permitted), and/or

  • additional documentation required for tax or compliance purposes.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, fails verification, or declines the prize, Sponsor may disqualify that entrant and select an alternate winner (time permitting).

  1. Taxes.  Winner is responsible for any and all applicable taxes, duties, VAT, customs fees, and reporting obligations associated with receiving or using the prize. Sponsor may issue tax forms where required by law and may require necessary information to do so.

  1. Publicity. Except where prohibited, winner agrees that Sponsor may use winner’s first name, last initial, city/country, and/or general likeness for promotional purposes related to the Promotion without additional compensation.

  1. General Conditions.  Sponsor reserves the right to:

  • disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering, fraud, automated entry, or rule violations;

  • cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if technical failures, fraud, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control impair the integrity or administration of the Promotion; and

  • substitute a prize (or portion of a prize) of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable.

  1. Release of Liability.  To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt/use of any prize, including (without limitation) technical failures, unauthorized intervention, and injuries or damages.

  1. Privacy. Sponsor will collect and use information submitted in connection with the survey and Promotion for:

  1. administering the survey and Promotion (including verifying Qualifying Entrants and contacting the winner), and

  2. Sponsor’s internal analysis and improvements to The Neuron.

Sponsor’s handling of personal information is governed by Sponsor’s privacy policy: PRIVACY POLICY. 

If you are in the EEA/UK or other jurisdictions with similar laws, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data.

  1. Disputes; Governing Law. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that disputes arising out of this Promotion will be resolved individually (without resort to any form of class action) and governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue: state or federal courts located in Tennessee.

  1. Winner List.  To request the winner’s name (where permitted by law), send an email to [[email protected]] with subject line “Neuron Survey Giveaway Winner Request” within 60 days after the Promotion ends.
